Step-by-Step Bee Drawing Instructions

Step 1: Draw the Head

Start by drawing a small circle near the top of your paper. This will be the bee’s head. Try to make it round, but don’t worry if it’s a little wobbly that makes it even cuter.

Step 2: Add the Body

Right under the head, draw a big oval or teardrop shape that points down. This is your bee’s body. Make it bigger than the head like a balloon.

Step 3: Add the Face

Let’s give our bee a smile. Draw two small circles for eyes inside the head. Add a curved line under the eyes for a happy mouth. You can even add tiny dots inside the eyes for extra cuteness.

Step 4: Draw the Antennae

On top of the head, draw two short lines sticking up like tiny springs. Then, add a small circle at the tip of each line. That’s your bee’s fun little antennae.

Step 5: Make the Stripes

Now draw three curved lines across the body. These will be the bee’s classic black stripes. Space them out evenly, like a striped sweater.

Step 6: Add Wings

Time to help our bee fly. Behind each side of the body, draw a big oval shape for wings. You can make them a little pointy if you want. They should look soft, like leaves.

Step 7: Final Touch – Arms or Stinger

Let’s finish your bee. Add a tiny triangle at the bottom of the body for a stinger.

Time to Color

Grab your crayons or markers and color in your buzzing buddy. Use yellow and black for the body, light blue for the wings, and any color you like for the cheeks or background. Make it your own.
