Step-by-Step Shark Drawing Instructions:
Step 1: Draw the Shark’s Body
Start by drawing a long oval shape, tilted a little sideways. This will be the main body of your shark. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect, sharks come in all shapes and sizes.

Step 2: Add the Nose and Mouth
At the front of the oval, draw a small bump or curve for the shark’s nose. Underneath, add a wide smile with a little curve make it friendly or fierce, your choice.

Step 3: Draw the Top Fin
On top of the shark’s body, draw a big triangle shape for the famous shark fin. Make it pointy but not too sharp. This part makes it look like a real shark.

Step 4: Add the Tail
At the back of the oval, draw a curved forked tail instead of a sharp “V.” Think of it like a soft sideways “W” one part curving up, the other down. This gives your shark a more natural, flowing look.

Step 5: Add Fins on the Side
Now draw two curved fins coming out from the sides of the body. One should be a little higher than the other so it looks 3D. These help your shark look like it’s swimming through the water.

Step 6: Draw the Eyes and Details
Add a small circle near the nose for the eye. You can also draw 2 or 3 gill lines on the side and some tiny triangle teeth inside the mouth if you want to add some extra character.

Final Touch – Ocean Extras
Add anything you like. Maybe some bubbles, a little fish friend, or seaweed at the bottom. You can even give your shark a hat or sunglasses for fun.
Time to Color
Grab your crayons or markers and color in your shark. Classic gray? Bright blue? Totally rainbow? It’s your shark, make it awesome.

Final Touches – Sign Your Work
Once your drawing is finished and colored, don’t forget to write your name somewhere on the paper. You’re the artist, after all.
You can also hang it on your wall, give it to someone as a gift, or take a picture to share with friends and family.
