Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Draw the Snake’s Head
Start by drawing a wide oval shape near the top of your page. This will be the snake’s head. You can make it rounded or a little flat on top, whichever looks fun to you.

Step 2: Add the Eyes and Smile
Inside the head, draw two big circles for the eyes. Add two tiny black dots inside them for pupils. Below the eyes, draw a small curved line for a cute smile. Want to make it silly? Add little eyebrows too.

Step 3: Draw the Snake’s Tongue
From the middle of the smile, draw a long skinny line sticking out. Then split the tip into a “V” shape, this is the snake’s tongue.

Step 4: Make the Neck Curve
Now, from the bottom of the head, draw a curvy line going down and around like a backwards “S.” This will be part of the snake’s body.

Step 5: Add the Coiled Body
Under your curved neck line, draw a big spiral that loops in on itself like a cinnamon roll. This will look like the snake is resting with its body curled up.

Step 6: Close the Body and Add the Tail
Complete the coil by drawing another line next to the first one, going around and tucking in. Then add a small pointy tail at the end. You did it.

Final Touch – Add Some Details
Want to add more fun? Draw lines across the body to make stripe patterns, or add little dots or zigzags. You can also draw grass or a rock under the snake to make a mini scene.

Time to Color
Grab your crayons, markers, or colored pencils and make your snake come to life. Use green for a classic look, or try rainbow stripes, pink polka dots, or even a blue snake. It’s totally up to you.

Draw a big U shape under the eyes to connect them and form a rounded head. Keep it wide and smooth.

Step 3: Add a Tongue
Draw a small curved tongue sticking out from the bottom center of the face. Make a forked “V” tip.

Step 4: Draw the Body Curve
From the side of the head, draw a stretched “S”-shaped line for the snake’s wiggly body. Then draw the other side to match.

Step 5: Add Spots
Draw round or heart-shaped spots on the snake’s back. Finish with a short pointy tail at the end.
